We would 100% recommend Quirk Design and Build after the completion of our extension, which was expertly built and project-managed by the company’s owner, Darryl Lambert.
From the very beginning, Darryl provided exceptional guidance and oversight, ensuring that every stage of the project ran smoothly. Their hands-on approach and attention to detail gave us complete confidence in the process. The team was highly skilled, professional, and respectful, delivering outstanding workmanship throughout.
Communication was a particular strength, with Darryl and Lisa always available to answer questions, offer advice, and keep us informed of progress which made the whole process stress-free. The project was completed on time, within the agreed budget, and to an incredibly high standard, exceeding our expectations in every way which has transformed our home.
The combination of expert building skills and meticulous project management made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. We are thrilled with our new extension and would not hesitate to recommend Quirk Design and Build to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality building company.
Sincerely,
Jason & Donna Bowater

Reviews
Having lived in our family home for twenty seven years, we wanted to reconfigure the downstairs of our property to meet our current needs. Living at Great Notley, Quirk were local and were recommended by two of our friends.
Darryl came up with a two stage plan, phase one being a partial garage conversion into an office and to move the downstairs cloakroom. Phase two involved creating a new kitchen/dining room by removing the existing dividing wall, as well as enlarging the utility room by removing the wall into the old cloakroom. New kitchen units were fitted throughout.
Darryl and his team have done a great job, completing all works to a high standard in a timely manner. Mess was kept to a minimum and all the team were courteous and reliable.
I would happily use Quirk for future projects and reccomend his services to others.
Would totally recommend Daryll & his team. They completed taking out the downstairs chimney stack and knocking two rooms into one, making into one kitchen/diner.
Very professional, efficient and prompt. No problems at all.
Thanks guys
