Great experience with all the crew at Piedmont. After a tree fell on our house we obtained estimates from 4 companies to replace our damaged cedar shake roof with metal. We chose Piedmont based on rave reviews from our neighbors who have Piedmont roofs ranging from 2 to 10 years old. And the estimate was quite competitive. Everyone was professional and helpful and they went out of their way to fit us into the schedule. They patiently answered all of our many questions and were unfailingly responsive and knowledgeable. We got bids from several companies a couple years ago. Not only was Piedmont the best price, but they came recommended by several of our neighbors. We were very happy with the quality of their work. We have had no issues (in fact it took care of our problem with squirrels getting in the attic through the old cedar shake shingles). Two years later a bird got into one of the roof vents for our furnace. The HVAC people cleaned it out but couldn’t get on the roof to see how it got in. I called Stephanie and she sent her guys out within days to fix the issue with the roof vent. She didn’t even charge us for the minor fix. Tim's crew did a top notch job on my roof with 5 dormers(more metal cuts) and a large porch with skylights. The skylights required some workarounds, which were readily fixed. The job took 4 days as expected and Tim was there checking progress and for the final quality check.The roof is now 6 yrs old and still looks new. Best is no leaks! Many of my neighbors have used Piedmont Roofing so that's says something! Tim occasionally has a job in the neighborhood so the word is out as he's on our preferred contractors list. Highly recommended!
