We had a large cherry near the house removed. It had been previously damaged and we were worried about it coming down on its own. The team got the tree down safely and efficiently. Tony gave me some advice and ideas about how to clean up some of the other trees on my property, and left us with a pile of mulch for the flower beds.
Update: the owner got in touch and made things right. He explained the missed communication and came to finish the last remaining items plus discussed what would have to be done to fix wiring on the microwave outlet. I'm satisfied with the outcome.
I called Glasscock because of an odd odor I feared was coming from my very old electrical box. The owner came out right at 9 o'clock at night. He couldn't confirm the electrical box as the source of the odor but confirmed the electrical box was in poor condition and needed replacement soon. We made arrangements to replace the electrical box as well as all of the outlets and switches on the main floor. An electrician with 30 years of experience came to do the job. There were a few minor fumbles (missed start day with no communication, items not supplied before arrival) but stuff happens, so I let them slide. But when my microwave tripped a circuit breaker and it included an outlet it shouldn't have plus didn't trip the GFI on the outlet affected (this after the new box and new outlets were installed), I was alarmed and brought it up at the next visit. That was my mistake apparently. During a mildly heated call with the owner, where I was just concerned about fire hazard and he seemed to think I was trying to accuse them of shoddy work, I was told it was unrelated to the new equipment and to be grateful the circuitbreaker was doing what it was supposed to now, as it was likely a pre-existing problem. However, to have them investigate would be a new job at a separate visit. OK. I felt a little better but it was still a new problem on my mind. The 30 year guy didn't believe the me about the issue at all until he saw it for himself so he got curious and determined the outlets had been wired together for who knows what reason. He tried to fix it and it seemed to have been successful for awhile (sadly, it wasn't). He left (with my final payment check) saying he or the owner would return to replace the last four-way switch (which they never seemed to have) and for the final inspection. That never happened. My emails asking about it were never answered. Three months later I had to hire another company for something else and they replaced the last switch and looked over the new box, finding some minor but not inconsequential oversights. I arranged for the final county inspection myself. I also had to fill in the grounding wire trench myself. While I feel confident in the quality of the work by the experienced gentleman, I was let down by the owner ghosting me and not rightfully finishing the job. I would have been fine with some additional cost for extra work. But I was shut out. My mistake was paying before the last item was finished and the inspection completed (and I guess daring to question an issue I felt was potentially dangerous.)
This was the second time we had the crew for some very large, high and dangerous dead branches as well as regular upkeep on fruit trees and landscape trees. Everything from the estimate to completion was ?

I was pleasantly surprised by the cute salon decor and the warm and friendly staff. Theresa definitely listened to my wants and needs and gave me a great haircut and a much needed refreshing of my roots. This salon is absolutely the best kept secret in the DC suburbs, and Theresa is top-notch!

Dr. Hutton is the best chiropractor out there! We moved an 1.5 hour away and have tried other chiropractors but they don’t come close to his techniques and knowledge. Worth it to drive back to see him!! Highly recommend!
