Manassas Health and Rehab did a great job with my mother. When she left the hospital she could barely sip water out of a straw. After her physical and occupational therapy, she is able to walk and do daily tasks, including enjoying dinner with her friends at the center. Great work by all and especially Jose, Marcus and Nicole.
I can't say enough about how much the staff at MHRC care. From the administrators to the nursing staff to the kitchen, activities and even cleaning staff. They really care. My mother was in long-term-care for many months and I feel she got the best help possible from the staff. There are many activities and the food is good, too! Funding from medicare and medicaid is always being squeezed, but they still somehow seem to do well by their patients. Thank you MHRC staff from the bottom of my heart.
Our experience of good care started with the excellent communication of Sherry W. She led us through the process of entering the rehab world with grace and knowledge. Her communication was consistent, detailed and individualized for our specific needs. On the day of discharge, her call to the house to ensure a safe transfer had occurred was greatly appreciated.
Her team continued that level of caring detail during the entire stay of my mother. Christine was exceptionally kind and empathetic. We often saw staff in passing with patients use their names and have intentional interactions.
