I have just started volunteering playing the guitar at the Rehab and Joann Santamaria, director of activities has been nice to me giving me all the help I need when I arrive.2.To do a follow up I'll like to say I still enjoy volunteering at Manassas Health and Rehab.Joann Santamaria and her group always welcome me nicely when I arrive to volunteer making my visit more enjoyable.3. Today 27th of December 2022 at 10:30am was my last day of the year volunteering at the Rehab and I'm glad to say that the whole year has been fantastic playing my guitar at the Rehab. Whenever I visit my momma (a resident) at Manassas Health & Rehab she always tells me how much she loves it there. That the food is good, just like her grandmother used to make at home. She says it’s peaceful and quiet. She’s happy and content there. Whenever she gets sick or falls ( which she does sometimes) they give me a call letting me know, and that she’s ok. I appreciate everyone and everything that they do for my momma.
My mother was placed in the Memory Care Unit after being with me in my home for 10 yrs.Coming to the realization that more, skilled care was needed was difficult, but Manassas Health & Rehab has been a godsend!The care my mom is receiving on a daily basis, 24/7 is more than I could have prayed for and expected.
