I rented from Brownstone Properties before moving to Dawson, Ford, & Garbee, specifically, Wendy Reddy Realty. Despite their poor reviews, I never had any problems with Brownstone. Wendy? Different story. The house we moved into was nice, but needed some repair. They sectioned off the basement & rent it out separately. The problem? It contains the breaker & water heater, which means you have to depend on whoever has a key, or whoever lives below. My roommate & I went A WEEK WITHOUT HOT WATER. Nobody should have to wait a week for that. Other than our handyman (who was great), they were not helpful whatsoever; not to mention they rent out the water heater. Seriously? As a result, out electric bill was almost $300 from having to boil hot water. All said and done, this house (in the Perrymont area) isn't worth the trouble and Wendy is pretty hard to get in touch with Her assistant is nice, although she might not like us since she was the receiving end of our problems.
