Have consistently used them over the past few years as one of two grooming businesses I trust. My dog is cared for and groomed as I request. They ask questions and clarify what is wanted before. One time they did nip my pups ear as he does tend to be quite wiggly. It wasn’t bad but they offered to pay for any vet care or follow up if needed. They can be busy and phone calls aren’t always returned quickly but they do respond and work to accommodate your schedule needs.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! My furbaby, Frodo, just went through a big move (apartment/city dog turned farmhouse, outside all day/country dog) and we needed a new groomer so, we chose Hair of the Dog Grooming and I am SO glad we did. With Frodo being outside most of the time, he was covered in sticky pricklys from the bushes & had some knotting in his fur, Kailey, our new groomer, was able to completely transform Frodos fur. She handled his high-energy personality very well and he came home happy (which he doesn’t typically do after being groomed)! Also, the lady at the front was very kind and it was easy to get in for an appointment. 10/10 recommend...read full review

Shannon did a great job today. My husband was thrilled with the job they did on our Doodle dog. Doodle was usually agitated and itchy when he would come home from his old groomers, but not today! His first visit with Hair of the Dog Grooming and he came home happy, relaxed and immediately went to sleep! Thank you all so much! Doodle will be a regular at Hair of the Dog Grooming. We can't imagine taking him anywhere else. The entire staff is wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable, too!
