“Independence Landscaping was contracted with VDOT for snow removal in the Lorfax neighborhood during the January 2026 snowstorm. Snow removal was difficult due to the amount of snow and the icing that followed combined with extreme cold. Lorfax streets provided additional challenges.
I had the pleasure of meeting Eswin Yanes Perez who was working as a plow operator. Eswin, despite having worked long days under difficult conditions, committed to clearing Wells Road. Eswin took pride in his craft and cleared the road all the while taking care not to block in driveways!
A fantastic job by Eswin, and Independence Landscaping. As a realtor in the area, I have opportunity to recommend companies to clients and often find myself in a position to recommend landscapers and similar professionals.
