Shawn is a great stylist. I went to get a wash and blow dry over the weekend for my nephew’s birthday and she did a great job. She sent a reminder text the day before the appointment. At the appointment, she asked me if I wanted it straight or with curls before we started so she knew exactly what I had in mind. She even made sure I was okay with the scent of the products that were going to be used in my hair. I really liked how before she used any product, she told me what she was using as well. Shawn Carter is legitimately, hands down, best hair stylist ever. She invites you into her salon and treats you like a guest in her home. She can determine exactly how you want your experience to be (quiet, chatty, etc) and spends your time caring for you. She discusses your hair desires with you and takes the time to look at pictures, and completely understand your vision. Shawn is one of the kindest people I know and I’m so lucky to be able to get my (and my family’s) hair styled by her regularly in her private salon.
Shawn Carter is one of the best stylists I’ve found. She’s passionate and dedicated about her work. She goes out of her way with attention to every detail in her secret garden themed oasis salon. And has even incorporated a special custom made hair washing chair to enhance the experience for clients. It’s clear she genuinely cares! She took the time to explain the process and ensure the right color and cut for my hair. And when it rained outside after blow drying my hair straight, she gave me a shower cap to protect my new beautiful style in getting to the car. She truly creates a special experience!
