I signed up with Manpower around 2010 when I was looking for work after graduating college and working some internships and entry-level jobs. I submitted a résumé, which listed my college degree and prior work experience, and completed a thorough inventory of my skillset. They only ever offered me two assignments; one where I waved a sign on the side of the road for $10/hour, and another where they woke me up at like 6am on a day I wasn't expecting to work, to ask if I could move some tables around that day for a client of theirs (also for $10/hour). Not sure if it was ineptitude on their part, or they really just didn't have much work for college graduates at the time, but they really weren't much help.

This is THE WORST staffing agency in the DMV. I have worked with many agencies and Manpower doesn’t care about the priorities and well being of their consultants AT ALL! Do not give this place your time as you will feel like a dollar sign and not a person! Because this is the DMV area; there are so many agencies that are worthy and will find you great places to work. #speakupspeakout

They totally screwed me out of work didn't pay me right or on time and Sourced free labor from me for a week, because I didn't get paid on time I couldn't get the prescription medication I needed to come into work I got so sick I had to go to the hospital because they didn't pay me and sourced free labor, because I missed work I even had a doctor's note excusing it they didn't care they ended my job assignment making me unemployed because of medical issue, then I got an email Friday saying they were going to bring me on a new job assignment I replied within an hour didn't hear back from them until Monday and they gave the job to somebody else telling me they had a job...read full review
