Do not let the kitsch-y decor and the rickety massage table fool you. Sungwan, my masseuse, descended from 3 generations of Thai healers, and I am still feeling the benefits of her massage 2 days later! She is a rare pearl in the health-care wellness market. GO GO GO be massaged by this sacred one! Your body and health will thank you for many days after.
The owner was a very sweet woman. I went for a massage. The salon was festively decorated which I loved. It's a tiny place but well stocked and clean. Being that it's inside the hotel was an extra plus.
Got an hour long massage for myself and my husband. Keep in mind I'm chronically ill with chronic pain. It was so good I fell asleep. It was a bit touchy with my lower back/sacrum but there wasn't much that could be done with pain for that, so the worker did her best to keep it light. My husband said I fell asleep deeply enough to snore, which is rare because I don't like falling asleep near strangers. My husband has also had some low back pain from his job and he said he forgot what it felt like to be without pain there until he stood up from the table. Only thing I could even complain about was the table's padding was a little thin, but other than it was lovely.
