Adams-Green Funeral Home & Crematory is a family-owned and operated funeral home that has been serving Fairfax and Loudoun counties since 1885. The current owners, Christopher and Kathryn Adams, are committed to upholding the values of trust, care, and integrity that are central to their family business. Customers have praised the funeral home's attention to detail and flexibility in executing funeral services. They have found the staff, particularly Brittany and Rich, to be compassionate, understanding, and professional in guiding families through the difficult process of laying a loved one to rest. The funeral home has been commended for its transparency in pricing and for treating the deceased with the utmost respect and dignity. One customer shared their experience of working with Adams-Green when their father passed away in 2002. The funeral home had previously assisted the customer's parents with pre-planning their funeral arrangements and creating a living trust. During a challenging time, Adams-Green supported the customer by helping with media notifications, the memorial service, and transportation to Arlington National Cemetery. Overall, Adams-Green Funeral Home & Crematory is highly regarded for its family-oriented approach, attention to detail, and compassionate care for families during their time of grief.
As a minister/hospice chaplain, I have officiated many memorial services & interments for Adams-Green over the past 15 years and have always been impressed with the high level of compassionate professionalism they display to everyone they serve. This was brought home for me on a very personal level when my own mother died in late March 2020. The dignity, respect, caring, and attention to detail which I personally received from Chris Adams & his staff is something I will always be grateful for. They made a very painful time - which was even more challenging due to Covid-19 based restrictions - much easier to bear. Thank you for putting your hearts into this sacred task!
