So sad. Called to retain Briana Steven for a child support case, but her assistant failed to express empathy for my situation and rushed me off the phone. Since the only real discussion was the hourly rate, I found the initial phone call distasteful. The front line - paralegal or otherwise, is an integral part of the potential decision of representation.
