Best hospital in Shenandoah Valley from Winchester Va To Roanoke VA. Second to none. The Dr's. Supervisors, Rns. Lpnsare second to none. I want you to know there is no better service than Sentara in Harrisonburg Va. My hats off to each single one of you. Thanks for careing. Rick Simonetti​

I live in the Boston area but grew up in Harrisonburg and have family there. I must say, I've been quite happy with the level of care my elderly parents have received and the transparency of their care. As for the wait in the ER people complain about, try waiting all night when your child has a 6 cm brain tumor. That's how it is everywhere; too many people use the ER as their primary doctor. I'm only giving 4 stars because we haven't had family go through extremely delicate surgery, as we've had done at Mass General/Harvard Med School in Boston, so I don't know how that would turn out. But honestly I feel like the people there know what they're doing and communicate it well - if you're persistent in advocating for self or family. Kudos to Scholfield in Cardiology.

March 1, 2023 - I just want to send a thank you to the gentleman working with me this morning when I had my MRI which included getting an IV. You helped me so much in calming my nerves & boy was I a nervous wreck! Thank you again!
