They are a excellent dojo. My daughter has been going since January 2026 The instructions are very nice and great with the kids on teaching them with discipline, following directions and to listen. They also teach them to have confidence in them self.They teach them how to say the moves in english as well as in Japanese. The instructors correct the kids when they do the moves incorrectly with patients and have them understand what they did wrong. My daughter notices when she does it wrong and correct her self.The rules are very simple and the kids learn them on the first day. My son absolutely loves going to Brian Hobson Karate. Enrolling him there has been one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents. He enjoys the instructors, loves learning new techniques, and is always excited to practice his karate. We’ve seen him grow in confidence, discipline, and focus since he started.

My brother goes here and I am so amazed by his transformation in focus and discipline when he steps into the building. All the teachers are kind but assertive pushing the kids to be better! You can see how much they care and in return the kids give them the upmost respect, but most importantly the kids respect each other . This is a great practice bringing up kids who I know will do great in the future.
