I usually go to my consistent place, but with schedule challenges found that I needed a quick place to be able to just walk into at my own convenience. This was that place. On walking in for my first ever visit, I was shocked to be greeted in a bright, clean, and very quiet spot. I was the only customer and was quickly greeted by Nisa. I appreciated that she asked what service I'd like to get and I asked her the cost ahead of time, as the service list was scrolling across the digital screen and had already passed the threading services. She told me to have a seat and then went to wash her hands, and came back to begin my eyebrow threading service. She was nice and personable and asked me how I like my eyebrows. I thought it was a nice gesture that she recognized that I had never been to the business and usually go elsewhere, so she acknowledged wanting to learn more about the thickness I like and shape. She worked quickly to clean up my brows and while working a couple of other customers came in and she was able to greet them while still providing my service. She was patient and kept providing the mirror for me to provide feedback to her on whether I was happy with my brows or if I wanted her to continue working to remove any fine hairs or to continue improving the shape. This visit definitely exceeded my expectations because I was not expecting it to be personable and to have someone so patient who really did value my happiness with my brows. Overall great service and I would recommend this place to others for your brow services. I will definitely return. I also think this is a newer location and she did tell me they have been on West broad for many years, so seems like a place with a good history.
I came on a sunday as a walk-in, no appointment, & got started immediately. I purchased a brazilian on groupon ($34 you couldn’t beat it!) & I got my eyebrows threaded for $15. I usually pay $70 @ european wax center for a brazilian only for subpar waxes & rushed work compared to A1 Brows. For under $50 I got my brazilian & eyebrows done & I love them both. Maya paid close attention to detail with her waxing & threading services. I will be back for sure. (If you call ahead and mention the groupon, if it’s still available, they’ll charge you the same amount without them getting charged the pesky third party fees that groupon charges them.)
I came here to do my eyebrows and ears. I got my eyebrows threaded and my ears waxed. I never tried dry wax, normally just do threading so it was a new experience for me. Both were done well and the lady did a great job. I normally get my back and chest+ stomach waxed with wax strips which can be painful depending on how good the person doing it is, so I decided to try the dry wax on my back and chest to to see the difference and if it's less painful. Nisha did an excellent job waxing me and her technique of reducing the sting after stripping the wax off you was flawless. Thank you for great work. Staff are friendly and polite. Great vibe.
