Active Spine and Sport

We have gone there several times going back nearly a decade. (I genuinely can't recall, I just know it's been a long time.) They do a great job and clearly care about their patients. They worked with us to ensure that we were fully healed, but without coming back an excessive amount. My son and I were both very pleased with this office, and we were treated for at least 3-4 different problems over the years.

Dr. Kevin Maggs helped me recover from SUPER tight calves and shin splints after no other doctors could figure out the issue (after Xrays, Bone Scans, and PT). He found that scar tissue in my piriformis was pinching my sciatic nerve causing it to fire inappropriately. After my first treatment, my shin splint pain went away, and after successive treatments and the stretching/strengthening exercises he taught me to do, the calves recovered completely as well, and I could run again. It's been 8 years, and I've never had the same issue again, and sing his praises to all who will listen. Thanks so much, Dr. Maggs!
