This was my first time being inside and still somehow feeling like I was at the beach. I came in with my girlfriend for our two-year anniversary, and I am so glad I did. We had a couple’s massage that nearly put me to sleep, which is saying a lot given the Red Bull I downed on the drive over. But the massage, which was delightful, wasn’t the most memorable part.

I don’t know about any of the scientific claims of Himalayan salt. It doesn’t matter. It made me feel calm. Not just calm. It made me feel relaxed at a cellular level. I could’ve gotten a phone call about a house fire. The salt would have protected me. The salt will always be there for me, even when nobody else is.

I’ve driven past London’s easily 200 times, and never knew what was waiting for me on the other side of those unassuming walls.
