“As a self-proclaimed “low maintenance, no-frills” person, I didn't understand why I needed to wear makeup at my wedding at all when I never wear it on a daily basis. Looking at Wild & Free/Raven's work helped me to understand how a little makeup can go a long way to elevate your features that are already there, and help to capture your candid expressions throughout your special event. I was struck by how expertly Raven was able to capture my natural features and to make it seem like the makeup was part of my face as opposed to changing me into someone new. At my trial, she was patient with me, explaining each product she was applying and making sure everything went together cohesively. Afterward, I sent her some things I wanted to revise about our plan and she eagerly agreed and made sure our plan included what made me feel best. Our wedding day was a bit crazy, with some illness going around the entire bridal party, but Raven stayed patient and flexible with schedule changes as things got behind and people needed to rest before getting into the makeup chair. She was an unbelievable, supportive presence and a master of her craft.
