very thankful for Dr. Miller and the staff. They helped me get through a very rough time when my dogs got exposed to mange. They have been very supportive and knowledgeable. Dr. Miller was able to find out the issue without getting a lot of tests done. He is excellent about finding the root cause without having to run multiple expensive tests. He saved me money. The vet techs are sweet. I was having a hard time getting in and out of the door today with all my dogs. They were so kind and helped me! I am very sad Dr. Miller is retiring! But happy for him! Thanks again!

I don't get these reviews. I have never found the staff to be rude, just busy. The doctors have been wonderful from treating our dog Marley, to when Dr Holley came to our house to put him to sleep, and now how much they love our puppy Kaia. love y'all!!

Like the other person questioning the bad reviews, my wife and I have been coming here for years with only the most professional and welcoming service. This service has been extended to 12 golden retrievers and three cats for 20 years. I have nothing but praise for the staff and Doctors over the years. I just don't understand those bad reviews. When waiting in the office for my turn to visit the Vets, I see the care provided to the other customers. It is equally as good. Those bad reviews don't make any sense.

Stay away from this vet practice if you value your pets. The front desk staff is rude. Our sweet 14 year old dog got sick the week of Christmas, was seen twice, then got worse and the staff was more concerned with their time off than our dog. When we called them upon their opening Christmas Eve to let them know that she was worse despite the meds and treatment, and then did not hear back, we stopped in and Amanda told us that the doctor, "may or may not get back to you." The vet that she saw during the week was a new vet to this practice, and did not see the warning signs that her symptoms and blood work showed. It was not until we ended up in the urgent care hospital that we got the expertise and clear diagnosis. Our precious one did not make it out of this illness, and this practice was far from kind and sympathetic. EDIT -we received a sympathy card two weeks after her death. We won't be back and would not recommend them.

I highly recommend this vet hospital, I don't understand those bad reviews, they've always taken good care of my babies, Dr Hoss is amazing,,she's our go to , she's very very thorough and looks into everything that might be a problem with your pets, I trust her with my babies lives, they're getting up there in years, as long as I have pets, it will be Dr Hoss we go to thank you Susanne and Melody too!!

I understand there is a shortage of vets, but stay away from this place. I had multiple negative interactions with this practice and I will be moving my dogs to another vet. Some of the problems are obviously related to the lack of professionalism displayed by the front desk staff, but that doesn't mitigate the lack of communication between staff and vet, nor does it overcome the inexperience of some of the newer vets. I have a dog with a congenital condition that is well known in the breed. I asked twice for the office staff to brief the "new" vet on this. When she came into the examining room, she had received no communication, nor did she seem to have much knowledge of the condition. She didn't even examine my dog for the condition. Bad, right, but the story gets worse. My second dog is quite elderly. He had developed an infection and I called on a Monday to make an appointment. Office staff would not schedule an appointment for more than a week out. His conditioned worsened and I called on a Thursday to try and get him in. Again, the staff told me it would be more than a week. I said, "He's old, and he's sick. What vet doesn't schedule appropriately for emergencies?" She refused to fit him in and said I could go on a waiting list if there were cancellations. I ended up taking this poor, sick, old dog to the critical car emergency vet. A few days later, they called and said, "Oh, we have a cancellation. Do you want to come in?" No inquiry about the condition of my dog. No concern expressed about his care, none whatsoever. They were only concerned about filling up their bookings so they could collect more money. So overbooked, they have no ability to see long standing clients who have emergencies. Stay away from such a place. This is not a practice that cares about your pets.

They are very friendly and very knowledgeable! I’ve been going to Lake Forest Animal Hospital for about 12 years. I feel they are reasonable priced and the most important thing is they take extremely good care of my dogs!

The staff and veterinarians at Lake Forest are just wonderful! They take the time to listen to owners and spend quality time with your pet! All my dogs love everyone there especially Dr. Holley. I always feel comfortable with the decisions they make and medication they prescribe. They listen to my input and we decide on the best courses of action and treatment for my dogs. Vets are very knowledgeable & always try to get my dogs in in a timely manner even when they are extremely busy as most veterinarian offices are these days. I know for a fact they will try to get in other animals during an emergency even when the owners are not their clients & their own vet office will not . Very caring vets & staff
