Scrappy's senior wellness visit at Ridge Animal in Farmville, under the care of Dr. Kellum, was exceptionally well-handled given his extreme anxiety about vet visits. To mitigate his stress, the day began with a gentle approach, including a courtesy visit to the vet, confirmation of the 10am appointment, and a weight check, followed by a break for breakfast. A walk on the High Bridge Trail provided additional relaxation before the appointment. My dogs have been going to Ridge Animal hospital for quite a while. We always have a pleasant experience. Dr Shepherd is very thorough and takes the time for all our concerns. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.
