I cannot express how fantastic these people are. They take fantastic care of all 3 of our dogs. One of my dogs is highly anxious and has to take meds for it, and they were so good to her and with her that she is completely comfortable with her daycare stays and comes home tired and relaxed and ready to sleep. One other has serious separation anxiety and he is taking to being there so comfortably and well.
They are AMAZING, and go above and beyond to work with the dogs wherever they are so they feel comfortable and safe. They even went out of their way and made sure my high stress girl could have the same space every time she came so she knew where she should go during inside/outside transitions.
I really can’t say how much 4Paws has been helping the household and how great they are with the dogs. And they work with me too! The prices are so reasonable and the payment schedule can be flexible depending on paychecks and half-day daycare is done by how many HOURS they stay, not whether they arrived and left before or after noon.
And they are open until 7:30. 7:30! I can get off work/school and commute to get them and still make it in time to pick them up.
I love this place and these people and CONNOT recommend them highly enough. If you are looking for a good place with good people that treats you and your 4-legged family members well, this is where you should go. Hands down.

Scrappy's senior wellness visit at Ridge Animal in Farmville, under the care of Dr. Kellum, was exceptionally well-handled given his extreme anxiety about vet visits. To mitigate his stress, the day began with a gentle approach, including a courtesy visit to the vet, confirmation of the 10am appointment, and a weight check, followed by a break for breakfast. A walk on the High Bridge Trail provided additional relaxation before the appointment. Normally, Scrapy transforms into a grizzly bear or T-Rex at the vet, but this time, thanks to Dr. Kellum's empathetic approach and her team's ability to manage Scrappy's needs, the visit was a standout success. Scrapy even enjoyed socializing with the team afterward, marking a significant improvement from past visits.
The staff very professional, and made me feel comfortable during my procedure.
Kat’s Kennels has been one of the best places I’ve boarded my dog. From ensuring that all dogs being boarded at the facility meet specific health and safety standards to sending daily photos and videos of my pup enjoying time outdoors. I’m not at all apprehensive to let my dog stay at Kat’s Kennels. Everything including the grooming has been fantastic!

I can't say enough great things about Rohr Mechanical. We had a huge electrical issue at our house and they responded quickly and figured out the issue. Two days of immediately jumping on the problem and even staying three hours beyond their closing time so we could get back our lights and AC during a week when the heat index was well over 100 degrees. Everything is back on and their work was top notch and believe it or not they were very reasonable. We are so happy and pleased with their work that I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know. These guys are the best and we are so pleased with their work.

Estes Roofing was able to work with us through American Home Shield. They were on time, wonderful to talk to, explained what they needed to do, and gave us a perfect picture of how everything was going to happen with both the job and American Home Shield.Recently, we had another leak from a heavy rain come in from our chimney. We requested to work with them again. They came out and patched what needed to be patched all within the remaining deductible.I love knowing I have honest contractors I can call, and I will make sure they are our first phone call when we need roofing work.

• The second episode: My husband developed a 106‑degree fever and severe shaking. A nearby walk‑in clinic dismissed it as kidney stones and sent him home with antibiotics. His condition worsened. At Dr. Adaniel’s urgent insistence, he went to the ER, where a catheter had to be inserted immediately—his bladder was dangerously close to rupturing. Had he boarded the international flight he was scheduled to take, the pressure at altitude could have been fatal.
• The third episode: When a local urologist failed to act on my husband’s extremely high PSA, Dr. Adaniel intervened. He referred him to a top specialist at VCU, where we learned my husband had advanced, complicated, terminal cancer. If you’re looking for a highly skilled and personable dentist in Farmville, look no further. I’m thankful to have connected with this dental office late last year, and today was my second visit here. This was a cleaning visit. Dental assistant Anna did a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth using dental tools and a special paste or pumice. Then Dr. Johnson came in to verify the condition of my teeth. Thankfully, I’ve been brushing and flossing on a daily basis, and that attention paid off. Cavity free this visit!

He upgraded my slow and unusable laptop and now it runs lighting fast! It’s like a completely different machine after he upgraded the RAM, replaced the damaged hard drive with a SSD, and removed all the unnecessary manufacturer’s software that was hurting its performance. Very fair price, excellent customer service, and he works very fast! I’ve been here several times, and this is the only place I will be bringing any of my equipment in the future! Highly recommend!

I was having some problems with my well Pump and I called up this company the owner was up front and informed me that it will be 2 days before getting to me. He asked what were the problems and after describing them he recommended some trouble shooting that I was able to do myself that resulted in my pump functioning as it should.
He could have strung me along and charged me some crazy price but he chose kindness over money truly grateful

$50 + tip for an acrylic fill-in and color redo. Service was pretty good and fast, the only reason I subtracted 1 star is due to the house flies. There was a few bothersome house flies I had to swat away during the process. Other than that, great!
