I found Drainage and Erosion Solutions through the Fairfax County Best Picks report and other reviews. My house was built in 1948 and my husband and I bought it last April. A week before Christmas our finished basement was completely flooded. We called in a professional company to dry it out. But it wasn't clear where all of the water was coming from. This company did work for us last August and I waited to put up a review until I could see how its work held up. We had water seeping into our basement when there were major downpours and had talked to various companies about work to resolve this issue. We received several proposals, which varied in price and methods. We went with Drainage & Erosion, which had proposed a less extensive and expensive approach that took into account the topography of our property--replacing one window well and raising the bricks on another. I put in a service call to Drainage Erosion Solutions and they responded almost immediately. Within 24 hours my problem was fixed and everything was running smoothly with no danger of flooding.
