Hmm ... Ethan Steinberg has "lost" someone's belongings because the moving truck wasn't "guarded?" Seriously, don't moving trucks have locks?He couldn't be arsed to even watch someone's scooter, which they depend on for their mobility?I love this 1970s tiki sofa, which I entrusted into Steinberg's care, but it disappeared too.Lawsuit pending.
I am a repeat customer of Monumental Movers. I met the owner, Ethan, during a layover and he seemed like a good person and it's rare to find a mover you can trust, so I have used his services twice. Unfortunately, during my most recent move, Ethan's employees left my belongings unattended on the sidewalk and someone stole my $1,000 electric scooter. His employees admitted this to me, that they left my belongings unattended on the sidewalk and in their wide-open truck. My building has a video that shows Ethan's employee walking away from my belongings and seconds later a criminal stealing my scooter. I hired Ethan Steinberg from Monumental Movers to move my mother last week and he did not show up after taking a deposit. It took 24 hours to get a call back and when he said he refunded my money, it still hasn't come through. This company is a complete fraud!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM, they will steal your money.UPDATE: 6 days later and my bank says he has not released the funds yet. The owner is a liar and a thief!
