From my mother, who is not on Facebook: When I needed to replace my AC/Heating Unit, I needed to have the work done, in conjunction with some other work done on the property. When I mentioned I was interested in getting some estimates, an acquaintance mentioned they had very good dealings with A-Adkins. When I called them to obtain the estimate, they offered to come out to the house so they could make sure they were going to provide estimates for the right equipment. Unlike other companies, A-Adkins was extremely accommodating when I explained that I needed to have the work done in stages. I sent the estimates that I received from different companies to a relative out of state who does AC Heating work. He reviewed tham and said the A-Adkins was the best and he agreed with their recommendation (which was not for the most expensive unit). I went with A-Adkins and was very pleased with their service. A few weeks after having the AC unit installed, I had problems with my water heater. I call them on a holiday and got a real person on the phone. They were able to help me out, for which I was most appreciative. In my dealings with A-Adkins, I have found them to be very competitive, very reliable and very professional. I highly recommend them.
I want to public commend Micah from A-Adkins Heating and Air Conditioning. I had a flat tire and was pulled over on the side of Rt1 in significant traffic. While everyone else drove by, Micah stopped and very quickly and professionally changed my tire. He is a reflection of what makes a family owned business great. I look forward to using them for my home heat and A/C needs in the future.
