About Kim's Barber Shop
Kim's Barber Shop is a long-standing, old-school establishment that provides good haircuts for a good price. The building is a bit dilapidated, but that should not fool or scare anyone away. The service is very friendly and efficient, with customers noting they can get a great haircut and be in and out. It is not the place for an Instagram fade and designs, but they have never disappointed. Many clients have been coming for over 22 years, with entire families known and served for generations, including children whose hair has been cut there for 14 years. The staff are considered beautiful souls, and customers love them like family. The shop maintains a connection with a former owner who remains well. It is a place that earns loyalty, even from those who generally like nobody.
As a first timer here I can tell you that if you want a standard medium fade, ask for the number 24, they'll go a little high on the skin if you dont specify. Nevertheless the barber was very good at their job. Medium fade and beard/mustache maintenance was $35.00 for me.
CASH ONLY. laundromat next door has an ATM for a 3.50 fee, so bring your own cash.
The Haircut Itself was good no long lines and I would recommend a visit , like her service and this saves from heading across town for a haircut summer 2025 keep up the good work

Great barber shop, it is a hidden gem in Dumfries. Quick, priced well and great cut on my hair and beard. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it... Kim is awesome 👍
