    I have given this salon too many tries and I am done. I always make an appointment and I'm always on time. The braiders are always 30 minutes or more late every time. Today was no different, braider was 30 minutes late. Even though I needed to change my regular knotless to boho I felt I should receive a discount for the lateness. They didn't care. The braider tried to turn it around on me and said I had done that before and it was waist length boho knotless which was a lie. I have never had this braider before and my and I daughter have never gotten waist length we only get mid back. My daughter informed me that the braider Berthe would just disappear for phone calls and also took a 20 minute break to eat without saying anything. The unprofessionalism of this establishment is ridiculous. An appointment is set for a reason and braiders should be there not arriving long after the customer.

    I tried this place 4 times and only had one good experience. Just absolutely terrible. Never consistent with pricing and quality is truly a miss. It is unfortunate that I have to travel a distance because they are so bad. Owner claimed they would redo for free but lied. Ended up giving me 10% off instead. Just not trustworthy and would not recommend anyone to go to this Woodbridge location.

    This place is so unprofessional and so unwelcoming that it’s ridiculous. I don’t understand how they even have a business customer service is zero I mean it just doesn’t make sense. I went there twice and both times the experience. Let me to never come back again. Please don’t spend your money here. Go somewhere else where your money is being spent professionally and you have a good experience. This isn’t the place

    I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the service my daughter received at your establishment this morning for an appointment that was scheduled the night before.

    We arrived at the shop at 10:00 AM as scheduled. However, the stylist assigned to, whom I believe was named Dufie, did not arrive until approximately 10:25 AM and did not begin working on my daughter's hair until 11:40 AM. Throughout the appointment, the service was extremely unprofessional. The stylist was very rough while handling my daughter's hair, frequently jerking her head and pulling with excessive force when the hair did not cooperate. Additionally, she was repeatedly on her phone, often stopping the braiding process to engage in personal conversations, which caused significant delays.

    Midway through the service, the stylist left my daughter's hair partially braided and went to eat in the back, leaving her unattended. When I asked what time the service would be completed, we were told approximately 3:30 PM. However, we did not leave the establishment until 7:00 PM. This was extremely disappointing, especially since we were reassured at the beginning of the appointment that the service would take no more than four to five hours, yet we were there for a total of seven hours.

    I am also very concerned about the sanitation of the establishment. Multiple bugs were observed during the visit, which was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable.

    Overall, this experience was a major setback in our day and very disappointing due to the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, excessive delays, rough handling, and serious sanitation issues. I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly.

    I spoke with Albertine by phone to discuss a potential appointment. During that conversation, she confirmed that I could pay in cash and that the shop had weave available to match my honey-blonde hair color. We also discussed the price, which was quoted as $180, with a 10% promotional discount advertised online. I additionally agreed to a hair wash for $15. Based on this information, I expected the total cost to be approximately $174, give or take a few dollars.

    However, upon arrival, I was charged $213. Albertine refused to honor the advertised and previously discussed pricing. In addition, the shop did not have weave available that matched my hair color, and because my appointment was scheduled before nearby beauty supply stores were open, I was unable to purchase my own. Communication during the service was also challenging, as the braider had limited English proficiency and frequently had to call others to translate.

    The service took approximately five hours, and several clients who began their appointments after me finished at roughly the same time, despite not receiving a hair wash. When it came time to pay, I paid in cash, but I was told that Albertine—who was not present—would send my change via Zelle. This was unacceptable, as cash payment should result in cash change.

    Based on this experience, I do not recommend this shop. The pricing was inconsistent with what was advertised and agreed upon, and the overall business practices were unprofessional.

    This salon is just what I needed as far as convenience. Took me Same day. Only thing I’ll say is plan to be there for a while if getting braids but that’s a given.

    Do not waste your time or money going to this place… it’s a hit or miss depending on who does it. I went last week for 10 stitch braids.. and they were terrible! Some hair was braiding into the other braid, the parts were NOT straight. They were so sloppy and looked 1 week old. I don’t not recommended this place at all!!!!     Do not go to this place the first time I gave them a chance I was in there for over 12 hours for some knotless braids one girl started my hair then another girl came and started the rest she did not know what she was doing so the girl who first started had to come back and cut out what she did and redid it. Fast forward to 11/22 I make an appointment and pay my deposit for 12:30 pm as Iam on the way there I get a email saying your appointment has been rescheduled to 4pm so I call the owner and they say oh we changed because the person you booked with had an emergency so I say why not call me and tell me instead of just changing my appointment so then he texts and say someone can do it at 12:30 so I get there exactly at 12:30 nobody starts my hair until 2:30pm and all I wanted was feedin cornrows.

    I didn’t have a great experience on my first visit. I made an appointment showed up and there was no available stylist. They were unable to service one of the clients who left shortly after I arrived but if it wasn’t for that, I would’ve had to wait several hours. In addition to that, I booked for a style that stated hair was included on their website to be informed it in fact was not for that style. The stylist accommodated me and did a different style and it looked good so I let it be what it was.. decided to come back and give it a second chance before vacation. Everything started great, the stylist was getting through fairly quickly and I had no complaints. When there was approx a quarter of my head left she advised she had to leave and one of the other 2 stylists working on 1 head would finish. No problem… I sat in the chair unserviced for well over 30 minutes while they both finished 1 head. Once another stylist finally services me, her braiding pace was a lot slower than the original person who does end up coming back and they work together to finish my hair. I got to the shop and started around 12:30 and did not leave until approx 6 for medium knotless braids and I get home to see the parts in the front of my head are very inconsistent. I reached out and sent them a picture, I get a call from them shortly after and when I answer someone is placing their dinner order and does not acknowledge me on the phone so I think they didn’t mean to call me in that moment but I never heard back.
