I went in for a well check and received a bill for over $400. I had gone there for 2 years prior and actually liked the doctors/ nurses that I saw which is why I went again. Unfortunately, I was unaware that my insurance was no longer and in-network provider. Yes, I will take some blame for not double checking however, I've had the same Insurance for 11 years and assumed that it was all good. At NO point did anyone tell me they were no longer an in-network provider. Not when I called and scheduled, not when they asked if my insurance had changed, and not when I was back in the room talking to the Dr. So, receiving a bill for $400 when you thought it was going to be $0 was shocking. I called billing and all they could do was set up a payment plan and that wasn't at all the point. Pretty useless. So $400 for a 15 minute conversation with a Dr. Oh... and I got billed for some sort of hospital fee... no idea. I will NOT be going back there and those amazing doctors should fine somewhere else to work.

Absolutely the worst medical office I have ever visited and the worst, uncaring and unprofessional health care providers anywhere. Incompetency and ignorance is dripping from every corner of UVA health system and specially this particular office. I have changed my doctors and go to Mary Washington in Fredericksburg now.The so called doctors go to the computer immediately after entering the "exam room" and punch on keyboard the entire ten minute visit period. If you ask a question, they search the computer for answers and read it to you. oh... yes, their temporary providers use the stethoscope and listen to couple of spots on your stomach of all places when you are complaining...read full review

I have been using this practice since it has opened. I will be on my 4th physician on my next appointment. The office staff and nurses and doctors are great. I just wish that they could hold onto the medical staff.
