Just had a uv bulb on my water purifier replaced for $388.00 Over the last 4 years we have had about $10,000 worth of plumbing work done including whole house filters, uv water bacteria/ unit, pressure pump for well water, house water heater and a new water pump, also multiple faucets and repiping. The water uv bulb dies after 2 years and I asked them to set me up with an appointment . They had to order the bulb . The bulb can be bought for the Mighty Pure "filter"direct from a mfg / distributor in Hauppauge NY for 70 + 15 shipping 5 in tax = $90. Three minute job (watched them replace the bulb) . Hector and Dustin did a great job. The tank top was buried deeper than expected and took a while to uncover. They did not stop until the job was done. Hector is very knowledgeable and gave good advice.

I called Powell's yesterday, July 21. yes, it was Sunday, but their website was misleading, by stating they provide same day service. I spoke to the answering service who took the name, phone and email address. She informed me that the on call technician would give me a call. Two hours later I called back as I had no call back. The lady stated that the technician may be in the middle of an emergency but assured me he would call. By 2:30, still no call back. I called the answering service once more. a different lady answered the phone and she informed me that there is no technician on Sunday.
