There is plenty of parking and the location is easy to locate. Her booking system is efficient and by far the best. Her webpage and booking system is inviting, easy to understand and does not overwhelm the client or potential client with a lot of rules. I love Acuity, her booking system, because you receive a calendar friendly appointment confirmation and appointment reminders. She also offers a punch card that allows the customer to receive a percentage off after a specified number of completed appointments.

Although I did not end up buying a pair of glasses from this store as I found a pair I liked better in another place, I still think this place deserves 5 stars for how nice and helpful the women were who were working, the speed in which they saw me, the nice selection of frames and about the only place I could buy a complete pair of lined bifocal, Transition glasses with nice frames for under my insurance budget of $200. They have genuinely nice $17 and $28 frames. If you know this Mall area you know there are at least 4 different places to look for glasses and this is one of the better places.

In a time of great stress for my family, Incredible Cleaning Services immensely helped us by doing a deep clean of my mother’s house. Gina was kind and wonderful. She worked wonders, as the main bathroom has never looked so good. I was impressed with the ease of scheduling, communication, and quality of work. Having someone help us clean allowed us to spend time with my mother in her final days of her cancer battle, a precious gift! I highly recommend and will be calling them again!

I went to Claudia for a haircut, highlights, deep conditioning, and styling—and I left absolutely in love with my hair. She took her time to really understand what I wanted, gave great suggestions, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. The highlights are perfectly blended, my hair feels incredibly soft, and the style she gave me was exactly what I was hoping for (honestly, better). Karleah sat me down in her chair and worked her magic, and fixed every section that was done wrong. I was grateful that she fixed my hair even with me not having an appointment. I have been going here for years.Kim is the Bomb,she is friendly and amazing at what she does whether it is nails or eye brows. Over all the entire staff is great,but I will wait all day for Kim to be available. You can make appointments, but I never do.

Ms. Young learned barbering from the Lady who owned and operated Yong's Barber School in the Dunlop Village Shopping Center. Yeah, that's the sweet-spirited place where the front and back doors were often opened up for a nice cool breeze to blow thru your Heart.
She learned what a good haircut is, and she professionally practices what she learned with every customer to her shop. The shop is quiet, a bit drab, but clean, and people do NOT feel like they are in a conveyor belt type of shop where you are in-and-out-in-ten-for-20$. She is a well mannered, and peaceful Old Soul, who is getting way too rare in these crazy times, and she is trying to make your haircut something that you enjoy, not endure.
So, I got a nice calming 20 minutes of well-done haircut, at a $1.00/minute, and was able to talk with Ms. Young, and get to know her a bit, and felt that no move by her was rushed or regretted. She COULD use a large hand-held mirror at the end of things, so you can check out the back of your head, but this is a minor detail.
My visit is probably a similar experience for every person who has been in the shop, since she has 15 reviews and a solid Five Stars Rating; AND has no negative write-ups. I shall return in July for my next fifth week trim.

I got a great haircut and highlights at Harriet' s but when I called for touchups the stylist had left. Not wanting to leave that salon, I was lucky enough to get an appointment there with Alexa. I don't have the easiest hair to work with because it's natural curly but she did a great job with a stacked bob and both highlights and lowlights. I highly recommend her. She's the best and I hope to see her for years to come.

EDIT - Shelby Jo Ingesipple no longer works in this salon. When we come up again we will still seek her out. Her work is stellar and well worth the drive.We come 700 miles once a year just to get our hair done by Shelby Jo Ingesipple. This year we didn't know until last minute we would be going up. Thankfully she was able to work us in. I always get so many compliments on my hair after a visit with her. IDK about other stylists, but Shelby is cash only. All stylists are independent of the salon. We will definitely be going back next year.

I've been going here for more than 2 years. Kathy is a wonderful and talented lady. She goes above and beyond to deliver excellent service. She uses great products and I'm very satisfied with her skills. I like the fact that she keeps a reasonable schedule and doesn't inconvenience anyone. If your appointment is at 10:30 A.M. she's ready for you to sit in her chair AT 10:30 A.M.!! From what I've observed, everyone there is friendly and professional.

Went in this morning for a full dip powder set and had to take my little baby with me, I was floored at how kind, thoughtful, welcoming and helpful Teresa and her sweet daughter were to my little lady! It’s not always little ones are really welcomed in salons, but Teresa and her staff were sooo sweet to my girl. I have been a repeat customer of Austin’s for a bit now, and today I knew for sure I have made the right choice for me! Not to mention how perfect my nails turned out. 10 outta 10 recommend!!!!

I got my tattoo done by Ray and he did an amazing job! I sent him an image, and he actually made it look even better than the original. The wait was only about 30–45 minutes, and the tattoo itself didn’t take long. He let me know that whenever it heals, I can come back for free touch-ups if needed. I felt completely comfortable the whole time. Hopefully, I’ll be back soon for another one!

Dr. Bates saw me with very little wait time for an appointment as I had an issue that needed attention due to the situation dragging on for months at my discomfort. I was not a current patient of his. He is professional, personable, takes his time listening to your problem and applied all of his professional knowledge to correct an issue that I thought would need another visit. I was wrong, Dr. Bates fixed every issue I was having right there in the office and I left with a fixed mouth and finally able to eat food without incident. His assistant, Amanda, was great, too. His staff is warm and friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Bates, he truly is great dentist. He is the best.
Dr. Stansfield is wonderful. He does a great job at making his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He has a great sense of humor that really helps lighten the mood and put a smile on anyone’s face. He is also very kind and gentle, He did an awesome job at making sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. I highly recommend him!
I hate going to the dentist, however they made me feel comfortable and Dr. Rojas is so friendly and has a great sense of humor. For once in my lifetime I don't dread going to the dentist because of how pleasant everyone was during my first visit today. Also I'd like to add I have Sjogrens which affects my teeth and Dr. Rojas was super knowledgeable about it and what that means for my teeth and what needs to be done to keep them strong and healthy!

This is the absolute best most caring vet around. My husband and I truly cannot thank them enough. Back in June we had a tragic accident where our cat Rascal was bitten by a dog. This happened before this vet was open so we went to the emergency vet on Cary St. They were an absolute nightmare, demanded $4k before doing anything and suggested putting him down. We ended up at another emergency vet that was open and informed us he may be blind and may need one eye removed, said that time will tell about the eye but he will make it. The first opportunity we had we took him here (our regular vet) and they IMMEDIATLY came up with a game plan. They double checked everything and decided to stitch that one eye shut for a few weeks so he could have a chance of keeping it to avoid going through surgery. I was really hoping he wouldn't have to go through another healing process. Well thanks to this place he did not have to. The stitch plan worked and they did not charge us an arm and a leg, it was extremely fair. He may be blind but he has adapted so well its amazed us. He is the happiest cat and loves the adventures we take him on now with his harness/stroller. This place was the first one to really take action and gave their all to ensure he would have a good quality of life. Thank you Colonial Heights Animal Hospital staff for all you do.
