I was referred to Island Chiropractic by my husband. I had never been to a chiropractor before and wasn't sure what to expect. The first appointment was so thorough! They spent more time with me than my doctor at a yearly well check. The entire staff is helpful and respectful. I have been in for about 6 adjustments and they helped each time. My questions are always answered. I'm now on more of an as needed basis and know that they will work with me to find a convenient appointment time. Lucky to have them on the island.
Wonderful master Mike. This is the third time my son has gotten his hair cut here. Everything is clean, tidy, at the highest level. Convenient location in the town center, excellent price, and, of course, high-quality services.
THEE place to go on the island for a haircut. All the ladies are wonderful but Brooke took care of my fiancé and I and absolutely nailed it. Definitely go see Brooke or any of the ladies there, they’ll take care of you!

Miss Darlene is a superb hair stylist, and a wonderful person to boot! She has been dyeing my hair for years, and she always does a phenomenal job. Thanks to her I look like a natural blonde :) Miss Darlene is highly skilled in color, cuts, and style. She is professional, courteous, warm, witty, and a master of her craft. She's open for business every Tuesday through Friday from 10 to 5, and every Saturday from 10 to 2:30. Her salon is right next to the willow tree on Chicken City road. I highly recommend Miss Darlene's Hair Techniques to both women and men who want their hair to look their best!
I brought my dog for a nail trim while on vacation. Pause for Paws was very accommodating! Fran is very knowledgeable and a complete professional. She acquainted herself with Maggie & made her feel at ease. I was able to be there with her which I like because most places whisk the dog away. Maggie is sensitive but had no problem with the nail trim at all. Fran even was able to buff the nails, Lol! The store is clean & tidy with many supplies you might need & had forgotten at home while vacationing on the Island. So friendly and experienced, I wish Fran was up by me in New Jersey.

I have natural curly hair and it is not easy to cut. I moved to Chincoteague in November and I was in desperate need to get a haircut. I drive past Salon R every day and thought I would give them I try. I spoke to Leda and she assured me that she knew my hair type. I went on January 3rd and left there a very satisfied client. I will be back. She was very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend Leda and Salon R.

We have purchased t-shirts from this store over the last four years and always were happy with our purchases. This year the t-shirts had some defective decals. We called the store and they made everything right-mailing new t-shirts right to our home. Thanks for perfect t-shirts and making this so easy!
