“What a great experience my 16 year old had! She was very apprehensive when I was trying to teach her how to drive, and I decided she might learn better with a professional driving instructor. I set up 10 private sessions, and the process was seamless. Chris was very responsive and always on time. His calm demeanor and clear instructions put her at ease. She has completed her lessons and is now comfortable driving. She is able to use what she has learned and even points out bad driving skills of other drivers on the road. She will continue to practice over the summer and will be ready for Behind the Wheel once school starts again. “This place is amazing. I have AUDHD and struggle with sensory processing as well as anxiety around driving, so I originally came here (in their enhanced learning program) struggling. Michelle was very patient and understanding, and she was able to diagnose my difficulties with driving as well as teach me in a way that I understood. She gave me excellent critiques— after making a mistake, she calmly explained why it was wrong once in safety, and she corrected the logic without making me feel incapable. She provided a safe environment for me to mess up (in safe ways— e/g, she prevented dangerous mistakes, but she would let me take the wrong turn and get lost), which taught me how to navigate those challenges confidently and safely. I grew exponentially in my driving with her help— I am now licensed and confident in my driving. “My instructor, I unfortunately can’t remember her name but i believe it was Angela, was awesome. She was extremely patient and friendly. A very welcoming woman, she helped me a ton in the two days I was able to use this service. I was unfortunately unable to continue with them because of the pricing and other issues, no fault to my instructor. I will say they are very strict about time which is understandable.“
