I absolutely love Tamiko!! Her genuine love for people is evident and her passion for excellence shows in her work. The salon is upscale which may be different than what some are accustomed to. Word of advice: Ask questions to be sure to fully experience the unique service that can only be found at UTD!!

This salon has overall great customer service! My first time visiting the salon, I initially came for color and starter locs. I had an issue where the stylist for the color was late and did not color my hair the color that was discussed. The day after the appointment, I received a phone call from the owner of the salon, Tamiko, apologizing and offering to recolor my hair and repair any locs at her expense. She was very flexible with rescheduling my appointment and came to the salon on her off day to repair my hair! The stars are for my stylist and the peaceful and clean environment. Make sure you ask prices before receiving services. Their prices are up there! That price should've came with a glass of wine. ? ,,((But we are not supposed to complain about black business prices)I should've been more aware of the charges ahead of time.
