Th Nails in Chesapeake is a newly renovated nail salon with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The owner, Sharon, is known for being nice and welcoming. The nail technicians, including Giezel, are friendly, professional, and talented, taking their time to ensure quality work. They offer services such as manicures and are able to create detailed designs based on provided pictures. However, some customers may prefer a full dip polish instead of the half-dipped, half-gel polish technique used for French tips. The salon is now under new management and has received positive reviews overall.
I've been here twice. Great experience with Ana the first time and Terecita the second time. Both of them were able to relieve my ingrown toenails. They also do the callous remover with the chemical that peels the skin. I had not been able to find that service at other salons. Is they are 2 minutes away from me. I'm so happy I found them that I made another appointment before I left the shop.
I called first and was told they could take me right away but waited 20 min. Thank goodness the atmosphere was quiet and waited on a wonderful couch. There was only two technicians so make an appt to avoid waiting! (Previous places I've been in making appt was a waste of time but not here!) I asked for French dip polish and ended up half being dipped and the white part and top coat gel polish. First time seeing this! Some use gel polish for the top coat but this was half and half. I don't want the blue light being used at all so unless they can do the whole thing by dip I probably won't be going back but the environment was wonderful and technicians were professional. Reason for the 4 star.
The owner Sharon is so nice and welcoming! Giezel was my nail tech. She is awesome! Soooo friendly and helpful. She takes her time, and really puts work and care into what she does. I showed her a picture, and she did my fill in perfectly! I can't wait to come back! Thank you all for the great work and service!?
