Last year I was referred to the Beach Eye Care in Kempsville by my PCP and since I had a great experience, I didn't have any complaints when they offered to schedule me the following year for the annual visit. I show up to the appointment and I'm told that I need a referral to be seen and that they attempted to reach out. They only reached out the day before and left a message with no details, but even then my practice takes 1 to 2 days to send out referrals so regardless I would have to reschedule, despite them knowing and mentioning that Medicaid insurance changed their policy with them last August. I had a very nice experience at the Great Bridge Beach Eye Care. Kailey and Angela was very nice, friendly and professional. They made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Ritenour was very nice and also made me feel comfortable. She answered all of my questions and was very informative.
