I'm new to the Charlottesville area. This was, by far, the most personalized dental experience I've ever had (nearing 40). Dr. Whitmer took great time and consideration to explain the science behind the care needed and got to know my needs personally. After seven different dentists throughout the past decade in the southeast, I plan to keep coming here as long as I live near Charlottesville. Old school approach with all the latest tech, the best of both worlds.

As a new patient at this office, I instantly felt welcome by the friendliness of the staff. I had a tooth surprisingly crack right before my appointment, and Dr. Strickler took great care of me. She made sure I was comfortable, talked to me about my teeth in a way that was helpful in my understanding, and painlessly fixed me up so I was good to go. Her attention to detail and warm personality made me feel at ease the entire time. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist in the Charlottesville area.

I was in a bad accident as a child and have had extensive work done to my mouth. Dr. Whitmer has taken great care of me and my family since we moved to Virginia 19 years ago. He uses a common sense approach to dentistry which we appreciate. He is wonderful with children and my children have grown into young adults who don't have any reservations sitting in a dentist chair.
