Sidetracks Music is a delightful record store located a block off Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. The store offers a wide selection of CDs, cassette tapes, vinyls, and refurbished analog and early digital equipment from various artists. Additionally, there are vintage trinkets such as band posters, second-hand books, and Tees available. The owner, Cal, is knowledgeable and provides excellent service, making it a true labor of love to preserve the art and its original medium. The staff is friendly, and it's worth visiting, especially during Record Store Day.
