So this was interesting. The receptionist behind the desk was shockingly dressed, definitely not office attire. Her black extremely low-cut t shirt was unprofessional, to say the least. She kept bending over the counter and I was sure a couple of things might fall out. The next lady that did the first exam and retinal exam was thorough and professional. The Dr. Did a quick exam and said no change to rx and just needed glasses for computer use...ok, so off to the sales pitch. So exam frames and scan total $49. Then she says a pair of the cheapest glasses is $218! No break down, no information we're like, what, wait! How did we suddenly jump over $150 bucks? She's like oh I added this...that..warranty etc Wait no! That's not what we expected to pay! So we insisted we only pay the $49 and leave with the RX. Communication severely lacking. We left thinking wtf was that? 2 stars because of second lady professionalism.

I'm new to the scene of eye care but as a 45 yo it was time. I had already dipped into over-the-counter reading glasses for about 2 years before I decided to haul myself in to see what all the fuss was about (because from my personal experience knowing those with prescription glasses...something is always going on about and I don't wanna join that club, however seeing clearly means more. I was put into the expert care of Optometrist Harpin (end of March 2024) and felt that my eyes were in good healing hands with him, that he understood my struggles and could relate to them as well. II pick up bifocals in a couple of weeks and happy I got that 1st appointment over with.

If you want to have an exam at that place be sure to ask them what EXTRA steps YOU have to do in order to really have an appointment once you schedule one. Here is my story: When I went on time for my appointment on a Monday, in order to keep my appointment I had to answer when someone tried to call me for confirmation the day before. So unfair! I wasn't informed that I have to answer all unknown numbers on a weekend just to confirm my Monday appointment that I already scheduled just a few days ago!
