“Duaa was absolutely amazing! I came to her for my wedding makeup through a friend’s recommendation. I had spent the previous week speaking to wedding make up artists in the DMV and found major issues with each one — either they didn’t have experience with a wide variety of skin tones, or charged an unreasonable amount, or had a very rigid and formal process that made it feel more like a factory conveyor belt — some had all three issues! But not Duaa. She was professional and personable.Before the wedding: I went to Duaa to get my skin ready. She recommended some great products to treat my skin that I could get at cvs and Sephora (most spas I’ve been to want you to buy their $80 exclusive products instead of recommending accessible alternatives). I had 3 facials with Duaa, one per month leading up to the wedding. She cleaned and treated my skin based on what it needed. I also got a Dermaplanning treatment. Every visit to Duaa was a relaxing experience. She answered all of my questions with patience. I even brought my fiancé in for a facial — it was his first time ever and he had a great experience.Days of wedding: I hired Duaa to do my makeup for two days. In the first she did mine, my 8 bridesmaids AND my mom. Everyone came out perfect. She was able to work quick given our schedule yet still carried out her work with care. My mom looked 20 years younger, she loved it!On the second day she did my makeup for our traditional ceremony as well as my mom’s.If I could give her 10 stars I would. Duaa does great work and is a lovely human being. My only regret is that I have moved from the DMV and can’t continue to go to her for regular facials.“

“Absolutely loved working with Ivett and Sadira for my wedding day hair and makeup. Both are professionals in their fields and provide their expertise and feedback from your own observations. Ivett really listened to my concerns about my dry and sensitive skin, and we made adjustments between the trial day and the wedding day, based on my skin's reactions. By the end of the wedding night, my makeup was still holding up strong without the break-outs like I had observed from the trial day! Sadira does wonders with Asian hair. Never before, did my hair stay frozen-stuck until her. It took me a minimum of 3 shampoo rinses to wash out all the hair spray! Bonus points to Sadira in also know how to work the Asian-jewelry style clasp that none of my cousins knew how to operate. Without her help, I would've had to walk into my first-look without my wedding jewelry on.“

“I tried two other aestheticians in the area, both in Georgetown and the experiences weren't the best. I didn't feel comfortable with the first one and the second disappeared. I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian Wax from Chateau Speechless in 2017. Her booking website clearly stated what days and times Groupon services would be available. I loved the experience so much that I have been a client ever since. Third times the charm! I finally found MY aesthetician that gave me all the right vibes, quality work, well priced, and conveniently located. Ms. Cherie has always been professional, respectful, and courteous to me and her other clients. I've never had a problem scheduling an appointment. She's accommodated me several times when I've needed last minute appointment changes. If I need to contact her, then I send a text instead of calling because she's with clients and always recieve a prompt response. Please note, any subpar reviews are probably from Groupon purchasers that either didn't read/ follow the booking instructions or felt entitled to attempt to run her business how they wanted her to. I've seen and heard this complaint from varying businesses about certain Groupon users being disrespectful.“

I have lived in LA and out of country and have a very picky attitude when it comes to my hair ! The salon was clean and welcoming and from now on this will be my go to salon. Since it was my first time using powder for my nails, I was a little scared, but thanks to Mia's wonderful skills, not only did they come out great, but even 10 days after my appointment, I've yet to see any scratches or markings on my nails. They feel strong and sturdy so I am able to go on about my day without any worries.“
