Had a great experience today with my 3 and 8 year old boys! Our stylist, Amy, was so kind and did an amazing job.
My 3-year-old usually hates haircuts, but she was quick, patient, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. My 8-year-old also loved waiting with the gaming station/Xbox area while his brother got his haircut.
Very happy with the service and haircut results. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a very disappointing experience at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids today. Our appointment was scheduled for 5:40 PM with Mary, and we arrived early at 5:15 PM and checked in. While we were waiting, one of the workers asked if anyone could do my son’s haircut, and I said yes.
At around 5:30 PM, Sandra finished with her customer, so I asked if she would be doing my son’s haircut. She immediately said, “No, I’m leaving now. Mary will do it.” The problem was Mary was still working on another customer. Then Mary came over and explained to Sandra that the appointment had actually been assigned to her and that she needed to do my son’s haircut. Sandra responded with “It’s not my problem, I’m leaving,” and walked out.
We then continued waiting while no one communicated with us or told us they couldn’t accommodate the appointment. After waiting about 45 minutes total, Mary’s customer even offered to wait so Mary could take care of my son’s haircut first, but Mary declined and told us she didn’t have time to do his haircut either.
The entire situation was extremely rude, unprofessional, and poorly handled by both Sandra and Mary. The worst part is that no one had the courtesy to tell us earlier that they wouldn’t be able to honor our appointment instead of making us wait with a child for 45 minutes.
If the owner is reading this review, I strongly recommend hiring more professional employees. When you work with children and families, professionalism, communication, and basic customer service matter a lot. This experience was unacceptable and very disappointing.

Had a bad experience with one of the stylists here and within the hour of writing a bad review I got a call from the owner. He was very kind and refunded our haircut and offered us to come back in to finish the cut but we declined. Good customer service but likely still won’t come back.

Great experience for my boys! They love getting their haircuts here. They get to choose their favorite themed cars — the police car and fire truck are always a hit — watch their favorite cartoons, and finish with balloons and lollipops. We’ve had a few different stylists, and they’ve all been wonderful, but special shoutout to Amy and Julia for always making the experience fun and stress-free!

The kids loved their haircuts, and Amy and her colleague did an amazing job cutting their hair exactly the way we requested. They were both friendly, patient, and professional.
