My two kids and I have been attending this Taekwondo school for 4 years, and we absolutely love it! The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, the classes are engaging, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. We have seen great progress in our skills and confidence since joining. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to learn Taekwondo!
My children have both been going to EMA for almost a year and both love it. My son went to another place for karate in a town we lived in previously and as long as we paid to have him move to the next belt he was guaranteed to move up. He didn’t have to earn tips and he didn’t have to test for a belt or prove he was proficient to move up. Not here! He has to work hard to earn each tip and then he has to test for his belt. There is no guarantee and he knows he has to pay attention and actually become proficient to pass to the next belt. He loves the challenge and looks forward to class and proving himself. My daughter also loves it. She is even more passionate about it than my son and she just made it to her yellow belt. I HIGHLY recommend them. Both of my children are learning strong work ethic, good moral values, character, honesty and integrity. They have to have a yellow tip to move to the next belt and that tip is earned from good behavior at home and school. We have to sign a yellow tip card before they can advance which has incentivized good behavior at home and school. Martial arts isn’t about violence it’s about emphasizing self defense. These skills are to defend themselves NOT inflict injury, harm others or start fights. I love this program and highly recommend it to everyone with school aged kids!
