They saved the day when a nearby salon dropped the ball for my daughter’s birthday outting. They made my daughter’s first ever salon experience special and enjoyable. Highly recommend! Professional, compassionate, and very talented staff.

Just moved to the area and found Southern Strands online. Their 5-Star review caught my attention and I made an appointment with Amy. I was a little surprised by their dry-cut method, but Amy offered a wash and style afterward. Amy listened to me about my hair and what I wanted. Then I turned it over to the expert. I can only say that my hair style is amazing! I'll be going back in 6 months for another trim and highly recommend this salon!Service: Hairstyling

My daughter and I are from out State originally from Powhatan by going to live in Blackstone we were worried about finding a good hair dresser in such a rual area. These girls were absolutely amazing!!! We were very very comfortable they in No way made you feel like a strange. We both are very picky about our hair and "Shorty " did exactly what we wanted so we are so Happy to drive 20minutes instead of a hour in to town.Thank you all for being so friendly and making us so comfortable!❤️❤️
