The surgeon was great, answered questions before and after my daughter's gallbladder surgery. When she experienced issues a month after her surgery follow up and called about it the surgeons nurse was extremely rude. I tried explaining it had been over a month since surgery and that she was still having constipation. The nurse interrupted me to state it had been close to 2 months since her surgery (not necessary as I had already stated it had been over a month). Dr. Miller and one of his medical students performed my emergency laparoscopic appendectomy. I have rarely met a doctor who was more thorough, patient, and kind in his interactions with me. He explained each aspect of surgery and then visited me afterwards to show me images & explain them to me. He even called my emergency contact after the surgery to let them know it had gone well. I just had my one-week post-op appointment, and again he was very kind and thorough in his examination. He was very genuine, and I recommend anyone having surgery at Bedford if you’re looking for other options besides Lynchburg.
