If I could give this gentleman no stars I would!!! I will be respectful in this review because I’m the better man. This guy is a crook pickup our washer charge my wife $125 had for a month claiming he was fixing it. Call me after a week saying he needed a control board $315 to fixed; paid him then the no contact started. Finally after numerous attempts to contact him and the office saying they would pass the message alone 2 weeks goes on he says I’m fixing it just have family personal reason he dealing with. Which at first I did understand but on the 4 th week he calls and says he can’t figure out what’s wrong. Drops washer off and no refund. Needless to say I’ m in the process of suing him in court. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with TIM’s Repair Shop in Bassett Va.

Gave Tim $3500 deposit in order to purchase the equipment needed to install HVAC equipment on my property. He was supposed to start the job the following week. He blew me off for a month with a dozen different excuses. I asked for my deposit back. He agreed. He then blew me off for a week of excuses of why he couldn’t meet me to return my deposit. I am now taking him to small claims court to recoup my deposit. BEWARE!

In spite of the bad reviews, I went ahead and called him for service bc I learned “what may be your experience isn’t necessarily my experience.” So with that being said, I called. Tim called back the next day and shown up the day after, fix my washer/dryer stackable unit and did an AWESOME job! I needed a receiver change and found out also needed to replace a breaker which he had already in his truck! This man came prepared and I thought I would have to wait to order parts but he already had them. Praise the LORD 🙌. He fixed it all in a day along with a reasonable price! Thanks Tim!

Don't I repeat don't do business with Tim the rip off artist!! On July 8 2024 I trusted and paid him $313.86 to order a part for my washing machine boy was that a big mistake! Since paying him to fix my washing machine he has not to this day October 22 2024 fixed my washing machine.Time after time I have called him only to get voice mails!! I would leave messages he never returns calls .Well I ended up having to call the police mid September to report him ripping me off. I let him know I i had contacted the police.Well here a couple weeks ago after telling him I had contacted the police. He sent his son TJ and some other guy don't know his name showed up here put the part on he informed me he had fixed it and had programmed it to run a cycle and he left .Next thing I know water started spewing out of the washing machine from a black hose and from where the water spicet was.My son called him to tell him about the water spewing from washing machine.TJ told us to unplug it to stop water from spewing everywhere. He claimed he was coming back in 20 minutes to look at it.he never showed up.Well last week out the blue Tim contacted me and told me he would be by to fix it he said on 3 occasions he would come and fix the washing machine and said if he could not fix it he would give me my money back !! He lied cause he did not show up the days he claimed he would come by to fix it!! So now I have decided to take Tim to small claims Court.!!! I'm very upset it has came to this point where I have to take him to court that's now way to run a business!! I trusted him and he rips me off !! Takes a sorry person to rip people off like that!! I hope down the line somebody rips him off and he will know how it feels to be ripped off . See you in court Tim the rip off artist !!

If I could give them no stars I would. Called them multiple times and they never return phone calls. Paid them $75 when they came out to see what was wrong with the ice maker and they said they had to order the part and would call to schedule an appt to fix it and never has.

Called on Tuesday afternoon, the team came out on Wednesday morning and was able to complete the repair and deliver my completed dryer within a few hours. I am so happy with the service and responsiveness I got from the team at Tim's Repair Service!

If I could give less than one star I would. Two technicians came out and told me both elements needed to be replaced without even pulling the stove out. They charged me $125 for nothing and gave a quote of $561 to replace the elements. In reality all the stove needed was a new thermostat. Another repairman fixed the problem and charged $107.

Found info for this business online. Called on Monday, next morning two young guys showed up and got our Oven fixed in less than an hour. Excellent work, could not be more pleased. Cost was very reasonable. Will definitely keep them in mind for repair help.

Piss pore excuse of a repair service ever!My parents called them since Lowes recommended them to fix a 6000.00 dollar state of art ice maker on a three year old fridge. They had to order a part. Then came back three weeks later to put it on. Worked a day or two, then they went awall. Would not answer phone, left message after message, still no return call. I advised Lowes to take them off their list and am in the process of reporting them to better business bureau to keep this from happening all to often. I've talked to other people who have been taken advantage of to the point that they could have bought a new appliance rather than putting money in one that needed repair and this business did not fix and then you could not reach them or they would not return a call. Sorriness is their motto.
