Ultimately this is on me for not doing enough research and getting a second opinion from someone on-site but I paid a lot more than I should have. Pole Green Services was referred by Dominion Energy Solutions to install an EV charger which was supplied by me. In fact, everything except a few feet of wire and a 240v plug was provided by me (charger, mounting lockbox and an existing 50A breaker already installed in the panel). I asked for an itemized bill to help me justify the cost since it only took 2.5 hours to complete the job but could not get one.
