I went in with a tooth that was already broken and it broke more. I was in intense pain. He took me on a Sunday morning when I emailed late the night before . While I will warn there are no payment plans . He was possible the best dentist I have ever been too. No pain, done quickly . His assistant was an absolute delight! Possibly the best dental experience I have ever had . I would highly recommend for emergencies. I want to go back to him for my implant but I will have to look at total cost upfront vs a payment plan somewhere else . If you don’t have to do a payment plan and can do everything up front … hands down would go to him for everything dental !

It’s a Saturday and I woke up in extreme pain! I called every dentist in Charlottesville and nobody would answer the phone or call me back! I called this office and would be there 30 minutes before closing! They told me to come and they would take care of me, and boy did they! Got in and out in 30 minutes and they were sooo nice! It was a little expensive but for a Saturday emergency visit I was expecting it to be more then average and the pain relief was well worth it!

Very expensive and they don't accept most of the dental insurance companies. So I also ended up not being able to use my insurance and I had to pay around 900 dollars out of pocket. If it wasn't the weekend I would have definitely gone somewhere else. I checked other places for the same service urgent wisdom tooth removal the next week and I was quoted 300-400 range. So definitely very over priced and if you have options and your emergency happen to be not on a weekend then I would suggest reaching out to other dental offices.

This man is a complete thief!!! He charged me for horrible dental cleaning that was covered by insurance. Stay away from this so called dr.

Called and went in and paid $250 for nothing didn’t get anything done told me they can do more but i have to have more money to pay not a good place !! Paid for nothing

Dr. Sharif is my new BFF. I have the worst anxiety about dentists. I needed extractions. Dr. Sharif & his staff put me at ease, were patient & I felt NO pain! Definitely recommend!

Family Dental Group in Ashland is a very pleasant dentist office. I have had to have extensive work and they have made me feel at ease through it all. Dr. Sharif will explain what needs to be done and will ask you before hand if that is ok with you financially. So, there are no surprises about any costs or about what is being done to your teeth. He is a very pleasant person and so is his staff. Despite what procedure I am having done, I find myself laughing and feeling no pain at all. The office is cozy and the procedure area clean and comfy. I highly recommend Dr. Sharif and staff. You won't find better anywhere.

I needed emergency dental care, and I'm on a shoestring budget. I tried calling and offering my insurance information to check and make sure they took it so I could afford the procedure. They declined to take my actual insurance number, but said I would be covered, and booked my appointment.Upon arriving to the office and then looking at my insurance info, I was informed that I would not be covered, and my insurance would reimburse me at best.All of this, after I tried to check my insurance info specifically to avoid anything I couldn't afford.Truly despicable. Whoever you have working the phones and front desk should be ashamed of themselves.

I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Sharif because it was totally life changing for me. We found him because my husband was in serious pain with a cracked tooth and he was the only dentist that would see him on a holiday weekend. Because of the excellent care he received we immediately changed dentists. He took me under his care and completely redid my teeth. After a lifetime of being very self conscious about my smile now I am smiling all the time. But it was not only the quality of the work but the true caring that he and Jordan, his hygienist, show their patients that you will find really special.
