Dr. Khan released my father from Manor Care Arlington skilled nursing while he was still a danger to himself. Her discharge report said that he could walk 90 feet with assistance but my father could not even stand up on his own, let alone walk. As a result we were denied coverage for durable medical equipment like a wheelcair and hospital bed from medicare and had to pay out of pocket for inpatient rehab at a private facility so my father could regain enough strength to bed transfer.Dr. Khan made this decision based on false or exaggerated reporting from the Manor Care team.
