In the midst of a very stressful situation (my mom started experiencing a sudden onset of floaters and flashes after >20 hours of travel- we were concerned it could be a retina detachment. We went to the ED on Friday night and the earliest ophthalmologist appointment was Monday), we went to New Era on Saturday to see if we could get a preliminary review. Dr Sharleen He OD was attending and she conducted a very thorough review and check of my mom’s eyes. She has lovely bedside manners and answered all our questions patiently.
