The owner is a con artist and deceptive. We hired him for a design and drawings which was completely flawed. His engineer used VA building codes instead of DC and left us in a terrible situation. Basically took our money and failed on the contract.

Mario’s team was efficient and remodeled the semi- finished part of our basement and stained our front porch in less than 2 weeks. They were a friendly, hard working crew. My recommendation is that they should take credit cards or Venmo or PayPal because we had some issues with Zelle/ checks and ended up having to make approximately 6 separate payments throughout the week. Also, giving us a clear schedule of when supplies would be needed and what type of materials / quantities and where to purchase them, in writing in the contract, would be helpful to cut down on the back and forth texts/ phone calls and having to make extra trips to different stores. The porch replacement work took longer as originally scheduled. The residence is old stock, consequently the suggested upgrading & improvements, in hindsite were worthwhile. I have recommended M & M Painting to others...recommendations are rare for me. Be warned, across the board, parts & labor have increased, so budget accordingly. Yes, I should use again, quality work.
