She did an okay job on my hair. But not on my daughter's hair which is 4c hair. She told me she would be able to get my daughters hair pin straight, but when Lucy was done it looked like a wig because it was not quite straightened at the roots. She put a ton of product on her hair and still didn't get it right. My daughters hair was also not properly washed. She talked up her skills but didn't follow through. In the end she blamed the texture of my daughter's hair but other stylists have been able to get it done right. That all said, she was nice to chat with and very accommodating in terms of schedule.
I recently moved to Northern Va and I needed to find a hair dresser and I searched high and low. I finally found Lucy and I was completely satisfied. She truly cared about doing what was best for my hair and she didn’t charge me an arm and a leg for it! I would highly recommend.
Awful experience. I showed her photos from multiple angles of my preferred cut, to which she responded that that was a ‘normal’ cut. She then proceeded to cut off almost all of my hair so I could not even part it as it was in each of the pictures. Totally ruined my day.
