Karen Lawson was my wife’s GP for years and provided adequate care. My wife got depressed in 2012 and dr Lawson gave her a sample of Prozac, without any sort of psych evaluation, screening, and apparently without even a glance at the DSM-V. Prozac triggered a manic episode which lasted for the next two years. She subsequently lost her job and eventually we had to move away to somewhere with a lower cost of living. WE ARE STILL LIVING WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF THAT TINY DECISION, right now, today. My wife’s on her third episode and again is jobless and wracked with a debilitating mixed manic episode. I really liked Dr. Lawson at first. But then, she started hitting me up for rent payments because she couldn't afford her office rent and had hurt her back. Basically prefaced it as she wouldn't fill a prescription without a check for her rent. That's gonna be a no from me dog.
